Amsterdam Neighborhood
Zuid
Residential, green, and well-connected. Amsterdam for people who like a bit of calm.
Zuid sits south of the museum district and stretches toward the Zuidas business district. The RAI convention center and Olympic Stadium are here, plus the Amsterdamse Bos is a short bike ride away. My neighbor calls it 'Amsterdam for grown-ups' — it is quieter, more residential, and has that settled neighborhood energy. Good restaurants, great parks, and easy access to everything without the canal-ring crowds.
Things to Do
2 spotsClub Birdies
Mini golf but actually cool, plus surprisingly good food. My friend's birthday party was here and nobody wanted to leave. Great for groups and dates.
Vecht & Castles Cycling Day Trip
The best day trip from Amsterdam nobody tells tourists about. Bike along rivers, through tiny villages, past two castles, and end at the biggest castle in the Netherlands.
